CORPS

Corps is a developing collection of unique large sculptural pieces, hand-built in white grogged stoneware and decorated with a porcelain slip. Some pieces feature textures created with stoneware and embedded marine elements, deepening the connection to the natural environment. The technique used is coil building, allowing for a slow, organic, and meditative process.

The forms suggest voluptuous bodies, inspired by natural formations, and invite a quiet contemplation of the beauty found in the simplicity of lines and volumes.

The collection proposes a subtle dialogue between the physicality of the figure and the delicacy of the material. This tension is expressed in the extreme thinness of the walls and the fragility of the textures and embedded elements, highlighting the ephemeral and sensitive nature of the sculptural object.
